Mehran Sahami Inspirational Speech

Mehram Sahami’s (Stanford CS Lecturer, Googler) end-of-quarter closing speech during the last lecture. The inspirational part starts around the 1:30 mark. It’s kind of like the CS version of Robin Williams in Dead Poet’s Society but not quite as theatrical. Hopefully this is covered under fair use.

an excelent teacher …
an excelent teacher i have ever seen! his lectures helped me so much to get used to Java! i am so glad that stanford upload his lectures. i have never had a teacher like him, i wish if my lecturers were like hi. Thank you so much professor Mehran SahamI.

They do slide. You start writing with all the “top ones” pulled down, then when you fill them up, you push the top chalkboard up, revealing a fresh new chalkboard.
